Connaught Partnerships

Provided repairs, maintenance and development for social housing stock on behalf or local councils and housing associations. Brought in as interim Director for Connaught Partnerships plc with accountability for £35m social housing business in a turnaround situation. Developed and lead a change programme to improve performance: reducing costs by £350k in 3 months; developed the business through managing and developing the teams; turned around terminating contracts into ones where clients were awarding new business to my teams.

Boots Opticians

Part of Alliance Boots, provides optical services in 650 stores. Brought in as Project lead for Frames Management moving two heritage companies onto one new supply chain. Role enhanced after three weeks to include all Frame Management for the company. Highlights include introducing fixed distribution across the Boots heritage, reducing stock holding in store and rationalising three distribution centres into one.
